ItemOptix Portal V2 Upgrade (2026)

Overview

As part of the ItemOptix vision, we continue to invest in enhancing our platform to deliver a world-class experience. The 2026 roadmap introduces a new version of the ItemOptix Web Portal (V2), focused on improving accessibility, reporting capabilities, and authentication flexibility, while retaining the existing functional experience and UI/UX.


Key Enhancements

The V2 Web Portal introduces the following technical and platform improvements:

Accessibility Compliance

  • Support for WCAG Level A compliance
  • Ensures improved usability and inclusivity for all users

Enterprise Reporting Upgrade

  • Migration of reporting stack to Power BI
  • Enables:
    • Enhanced analytics and visualization
    • Scalable enterprise reporting
    • Improved performance and flexibility

Authentication Enhancements

  • Upgrade to the authentication module supporting:
    • SAML-based authentication
    • Single Sign-On (SSO)
    • Hybrid authentication models
  • Additional capabilities will be introduced in future phases

What Remains Unchanged

  • Existing functional capabilities
  • Current user interface and user experience (UI/UX)
